Danella Lee (Nutburra Nutburra) is a proud artist of Larrakia, Wardaman, and Karajarri heritage, based in Darwin, Northern Territory. With over 40 years of experience, Danella has showcased her work both across Australia and internationally, making history as the first Indigenous female artist to sell artwork at the Milano Art Festival in Italy. Her art is deeply grounded in culture and storytelling, using natural materials such as wood, feathers, clay, and bamboo. Danella’s unique creations are rich with meaning, and she is passionate about supporting fellow artists through pop-up exhibitions and creative opportunities.
